Detailed Daywise Itinerary

Day 1 : Pick-up from NJP / IXB Airport and Drop to Gangtok (140 Km / 4 hours)

Arrive at the airport and transfer to Gangtok. After reaching Gangtok, proceed to the hotel for check-in. Return to the hotel (in Gangtok) for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast, start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is located 55 kilometers away from Gangtok city. Enjoy your night stay in Gangtok.

Day 3 : Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing to Darjeeling (100 Km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day local tour of Gangtok covering Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom (closed on Sunday), Tashi View Point and flower show. Later, transfer to the hotel in Darjeeling for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing (with Tiger Hill)

Early in the morning (at 04:00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill and watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga. On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Japanese Temple. In the evening, indulge in some shopping at the local markets. Facilities for overnight stay will be arranged in Darjeeling.
